PetroReal ASI (previously PetroAi) was formed in February 2020 as a venture between U.S. Energy Lender PetroAlpha Energy, and Korean Technology Companies, Energy Holdings Group, and iSciLab to bring AI-based assets valuation solution into their oil and gas investment decision makings.
Energy Holdings Group is a leading energy consulting company and iSciLab, Korea’s preeminent AI technology provider. iSciLab and its founder Dr. Hyeong In Choi, a former professor at Seoul National University and a world-renowned AI specialist, will play a critical role in providing the AI-based technology to be used in oil and gas asset valuations. Energy Holdings Group will use its vast investment and technical networks to assist PetroAlpha in expanding its operations into Asia investment markets and in penetrating an ever-growing digital segment of the Oil and Gas development industry.

Douglas C. Nester (Founder, CEO)
Mr. Nester is a Founder, Board Member and CEO of PetroReal ASI LLC. He is a proven energy executive with over 35 years of global experience in the management of upstream operations for both public and start-up organizations. Holding degrees in geology and business, Mr. Nester spent much of his career focusing on the process of integrating technical and financial data to improve decision making. In 1992 he co-founded 3DX Technologies Inc, a publicly traded company whose cornerstone was the merging of geologic, geophysical, engineering and finance data to increase E&P performance. He later was invited to continue this effort as an executive within Devon/Santa Fe Snyder for nearly 5 years and then served for 10 years as COO and Co-founder of Prime Offshore.
Since 2012, Mr. Nester served internationally as a CEO, COO and Country Manager within geographic regions possessing some of Industry’s most complex political, contractual and operational challenges. Whether dealing with terrorists in Iraq or fighting corruption in Albania, Mr. Nester consistently demonstrated his ability to creatively mitigate such obstacles in order to meet Company goals and schedules.
As CEO for PetroReal ASI, Mr. Nester’s drive for complete answers will ensure the Company remains focused on delivering the leading solutions for analyzing all data collected from today’s digital oil and gas fields in order to derive the most accurate asset valuations possible.

Paul J. Hudson (Founder, Board Member)
Mr. Hudson is a Founder and Board Member of PetroAi LLC. He is the CEO of PetoAlpha Energy, a capital lender to the Energy Industry. He is a recognized entrepreneur and market leader who has served as a senior executive in the oil and gas industry and participated in all aspects of petroleum exploitation for the past 38 years.
Mr. Hudson has a proven track record and vast experience in delivering energy opportunities as well as executing operational plans resulting in financial success and the established of new benchmarks for petroleum development operations around the world.
Mr. Hudson has served as an owner, Director, CEO or President of more than 20 companies during his career. He has provided leadership and personally financed oil and gas operations that include the drilling, completion and production facilities for more than 2000 wells over a period of less than 20 years.
Mr. Hudson is an oil and gas specialist that recognizes talent and understands what it takes to deliver incremental well production using the most cost effective and modern methods available today.

Hyeong In Choi (Founder, Board Member)
Dr. Choi is a Founder and Board Member of PetroAi LLC. He is President and CEO of iSciLab in Seoul Korea, a company he founded in 2005 that specializes in Artificial Intelligence research and technical development in Intelligence Science. After receiving his Ph D. in Mathematics at U.C. Berkeley, Dr. Choi was an associate Professor (Tenured) at University of Iowa and returned to Korea to be Professor of Mathematics at the distinguished Seoul National University from 1991-2018. While at Seoul National University, he also served as Director of the school’s Mathematics Research Institute. Dr. Choi received the National Academy of Science award in 2003 and the Presidential Citation in 2018. He is an active member of the Korea Academy of Science and Technology (KAST).

Kyoyoung Jin (Board Member)
Mr. Jin is a Board Member of PetroAi LLC and specializes on research planning, IoT signal processing and communication technology for development of the digital oilfield. Previously he has worked in Disol Inc. as a vice president and with smart device manufacturing companies cooperating with Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics. His research focused on developing major electrical system and line modules for smart telecommunication device. He has also worked at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology and Samsung Electro-Mechanics as a team leader at his early career.
He earned his MS degree from Stevens Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering and MBA from U.C. Berkeley.
